The Patriots announced they have placed Rob Gronkowski on season ending IR. Gronk tore his ACL when he took a hit to his knee in the Patriots win over the Browns yesterday afternoon. The Patriots also made the announcement today they signed tight end D.J. Williams.

Gronkowski also suffered a concussion front Ward’s hit

When TJ Ward delivered the low hit to Gronk he not only blew out his knee but the fall caused Gronk to suffer a concussion. Gronk’s head bounced off the turf and gave him a slight concussion. Pro Football Talk was the ones who reported this news.
