The Patriots will have Jacoby Brissett under center tonight as they battle the Houston Texans in game three of the regular season as they look to get to 2-0.
Brissett will play for Jimmy Garoppolo, who has been ruled out of the game with a shoulder injury. The Pats will have the services of tight end Rob Gronkowski, who will play in his first game of the 2016 season.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft also hinted that Gronkowski will be making his regular-season debut, telling WBZ-TV that “you’d be wise” if thinking that Gronkowski would play.
Gronkowski will rotate and be on a play count for the Texans, sources told ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
