WR Julian Edelman has been cleared to play against the Chiefs, according to reports.
Edelman will be wearing a steel plate in his left shoe to prevent flexing and re-fracturing the foot, according to WHDH Channel 7 sports director Joe Amorosino.
Look, Edelman broke his foot, and after two months will play again for the Patriots. The one thing I know for sure is Edelman will be back and that’s a great thing, but I don’t know how much he will be affected by the injury. Maybe he comes back like he was before, much like Dez Bryant or maybe he’s only 50% or so. We won’t know until Saturday, but injuries are one of the only things that can stop this team, so let’s hope he’s truly good to go.
