The Patriots will take on the Miami Dolphins tomorrow inside of the Sun Life Stadium at 1:00 pm EST on CBS.

The Patriots will be without their best offensive linemen Vollmer, LB Hightower, DE Chandler Jones, WR Julian Edelman, and CB Justin Colemn. Those are the ones we know about, Amendola and many more may be inactive once tomorrow afternoon rolls around.

How in the world will the Patriots beat the Dolphins with so many injuries and key players out? Well, the Dolphins are really bad and the Pats have a lot on the line, a first overall bye that they really want.

On offense, the Patriots will do their best to protect Brady and Mr. Brady will try his hardest to get the ball out, but that’s up to the wide outs. I expect plenty of passes to Gronk and James White tomorrow, with a little Keshawn Martin sprinkled in. The Dolphins aren’t the pass rushing machine they were last year, but they have plenty left to cause problems for the Patriots, but I don’t expect much from Miami tomorrow. If the Patriots score a lot and have an easy day, it will be because the offensive line has been playing their best game in a long time. The running game needs to get going and has the chance tomorrow against a terrible run defense. If Jackson and company can run the football it will help Tom Brady and the Pats will win the game. The wide outs need to get open faster, but without Edelman and Amendola I doubt they will very often. It rests on the line and the running backs. But, regardless, Brady will connect with Gronk and White enough times on offense to give the Pats a chance to win. It’s a theme this season.

On defense, the Patriots will play to keep everything in front of them considering Miami moves the ball via the deep passes. Butler will get Landry, while Ryan will get Matthews with safety help, or he will get Landry while Butler takes on Matthews. Either way, safety play will be huge tomorrow. If McCourty plays, the secondary will be fine, and so will Ryan, but if he doesn’t, things could get dicey. Duron Harmon will have to play much better against Miami if the Patriots want to win. The second thing they will focus on will be stopping the run. The key to beating Miami is making them a pass only team while stopping the big plays. Take away Landry and Miller and you have it made on defense. Mayo, Collins, and Brown all have big jobs tomorrow, but all capable of making the plays to prevent the run from killing them. As long as they stop the run, the defense will keep the game close or win the game.

To recap, the Pats will win if the offense can protect Brady and run the football and if the defense can prevent big pass plays and stop the run.
