It’s time for our very own version of the NFL’s power rankings! I will rank the best to least best right here on this page. Remember, it is all for fun.
1. Patriots
They are the best team in the NFL. They won a game without being at full strength and playing their worst ball of the season.
2. Panthers
They look good, but not great. I mean they look like a hit or miss team on offense, but they are 9-0, respect to Carolina.
3. Cardinals
Great defense, Great offense, and way ahead in their own division. They are a scary team and I believe the best in the NFC.
4. Vikings
They are hot and they look good. Every week they prove me wrong. Right now, they are a top five team.
5. Steelers
Big Ben was the backup Sunday because of an injury, but was forced to play and didn’t look injured. He makes this team better and when he plays they are a top ten team.
6. Bengals
Hard choice right here. The Bengals did what I thought they might, lose badly during a night game. They just aren’t a big lights team, just 1:00 pm team.
7. Broncos
Great defense and they weren’t at full go against the improving Chiefs, but it’s a hard sell saying they play like a top five team. They don’t but a healthy Manning and that defense can still bring the noise.
8. Giants
They looked every bit like a top 10 team on Sunday, giving the Pats everything they had. If they get into the playoffs, they are tough and pesky, so lets hope somehow they don’t.
9. Packers
They lost to the one win Lions. They are on what I call a cold streak.
10. Falcons
They had a bye week and they needed it. If they can get back to what they were when the season began, they are a decent team.
11. Bills
They beat the Jets and look like a well run Oregon Ducks team. Actually, they are a circus, but a fast circus.
12. Chiefs
Don’t look now, but they are getting better.
13. Seahawks
Not the same ole defense. Since the Super Bowl, they have been exposed.
14. Raiders
A young team with a lot of promise. Look out for them in the next year or two.
15. Bears
They look good, and they are on a two game winning streak.
16. Jets
They are beginning to fall from the season high they began on. They dropped the last 3 out of 4.
17. Redskins
They won again! They have a decent offense, it seems but it is very streaky.
18. Dolphins
They made a nice comeback against the Eagles
19. Rams
QB situation dicey, defense solid, but this team is underachieving big time. I admit, I was very wrong about the Rams.
20. Eagles
They go from Bradford to Sanchez, but that doesn’t mean much. They will remain a hit or miss team.
21. Colts
Luck and the Colts notched a big win over Denver and then lost Luck for a while. They won’t be improving anymore.
22.Saints
It’s a mess in New Orleans.
23. Texans
Same thing, defense is pretty good when they want to be.
24. Buccaneers
They are playing like everyone expected. Their QB is learning the ropes.
25. Chargers
They have a QB so what is going on with them? I guess, everything else there just plain stinks. Defense, run game, and most of their wide outs.
26. Cowboys
Tony Romo comes back! He will, I’m sure jump them back into the top 10, at least 15, I’m sure. Without him, they are the 25th best team.
27. Titans
They are a bad team at home. They are bad overall, but especially bad at home.
28. Ravens
I forgot about them. They have fallen off the map and the memory this year.
29. Jaguars
Simply, the best of the worst. They have talent, they just need that talent to equal wins.
30. Browns
Awful team. Basically, the same as always.
31. Lions
They beat Green Bay! They still don’t give me hope for the remainder of the season, but at least they beat them.
32. 49ers
The biggest mess in the NFL.
