It just took one game for the Patriots to snag the number one spot on ESPN’s Power Rankings heading into week 2. The defending Super Bowl Champions looked good in their win on Thursday night, so ESPN rewarded them with a bump up one spot to number one. The Seahawks lost on Sunday, so they slid to number 3, behind the Packers at number 2. The Steelers, the team the Patriots beat last Thursday, fell to number 13 overall. The Pats next challenge is the Buffalo Bills, who moved up nine spots to number 9 overall after their dismantling of the Colts.

The Broncos and Cowboys finished up the top five. To see ESPN’s Full power rankings GO HERE.¬† released their power rankings for week 2 as well, but bumped the Pats up only one spot to number 2 overall. They gave number one to the Green Bay Packers, and Seattle fell to 3. Chiefs and Cardinals rounded out the top five. The Steelers, who lost to the Patriots, fell to 13 overall, while the next opponent¬†for the Pats, Bills, climbed to number 6. That’s eleven spots they jumped. To see’s full power rankings GO HERE.
