Patriots cut LB Chris White

The Patriots made a couple of moves today, cutting LB Chris White and TE Mason Brodine, the team announced.

White is surprising since he’s been a core special teams guy, but they may bring him back when he is healthy.

The Patriots signed RB Tony Creecy and TE Logan Stokes.

Stokes is a 6-foot-5, 255-pounder, mostly used as a blocking tight end. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Patriots in June and released a few days later. He’s back.

Creecy, from North Carolina State, rushed for 1,265 rushing yards on 324 attempts and nine touchdowns over four seasons in college football.
