The pot charges against Pats RB LeGarrette Blount from August when he was with the Steelers have been dropped.

He was arrested along with then teammate and fellow RB Bell.

The judge told Blount last month during his court appearance that the charges would go away if he completed 50 hours of community service by Febraury 4th.

Blount’s lawyer Casey White, from Pittsburgh, said he has completed the hours.

Blount worked with a group in Boston called the Urban Achievers, the website says it works to improve “the academic and social outcomes of children living in under-served and under-resourced communities.”

Blount will not have to go to Pittsburgh next week and can focus solely on the game Sunday.

“He was happy to get this done in a timely fashion so he wouldn’t have any distractions with the game at hand,” White said.
