The trade that has been talked about all year has finally happened!

The Houston Texans have traded for Ryan Mallett from the New England Patriots, according to multiple sources.

A day after surviving cuts, Mallett has been moved from Boston to Texas. Everyone was wondering why the Pats would keep 3 Quarterbacks, but this is the reason why, getting something out of the 3 year vet.

Mallett is a 6’6, 245 pound QB, with a big arm. He didn’t have a great preseason, but he knows the Texans offense and worked with head coach Bill O’Brien during his OC days with New England.

Reports are Cowboys and Bills were in talks with the Patriots too for Mallett, so the Texans had to pull the trigger.

As soon as more details come out about the trade, we will have it here!
