Patriots new WR Brian Tyms has been making waves in camp and in the team’s first preseason game with electrifying catches.

He’s got the size at 6’3, 205 pounder, the speed, and the hands. He’s been showing off some Randy Moss type catches this preseason and he said in an interview that Moss taught him a lot about the deep ball.

“Yeah, that’s my favorite player,” Tyms said Sunday at Gillette Stadium of Moss. “That’s kind of the reason I signed (with the San Francisco 49ers) out of college. That was my favorite player, I wanted to learn everything I could from him. He’s a really good guy. He taught me a lot as far as deep ball, and everything like that.”

Tyms went from the 49ers to the Dolphins to the Browns to finally here in New England.

Right now, I think he should make the team and he looks good to do just that and make them other teams look silly.
