The New England Patriots have signed tight end Nate Byham, a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer.
Byham fills the 90th and final spot on the Patriots roster.
Byham has played 2 seasons with Tampa Bay under Greg Schiano, a friend of Bill Belichick.
Byham is 6’4 and 264 pound blocking tight end.
He caught six passes for 56 yards, and one touchdown in 15 games with the Bucs.
He was a 6th round draft choice by San Francisco in 2010.
He’s coming off a torn ACL on October 1st last season.
