Adrian Wilson Will be Ready By OTAs

The New England Patriots have a decision to make on strong safety, Adrian Wilson. Although it is good news that his torn ACL is expected to be recovered by OTAs according to a report, however, the Patriots could release him to save $1.2 million.

Wilson, 34-years-old, sustained his torn ACL in the 2013 preseason. Wilson then spent the entire season on injured reserve leaving the roster with one less veteran.

The Patriots did just fine without Wilson, but fell apart in the AFC Championship, when the secondary could not keep up with Peyton Manning and the passing attack.

Wilson has recorded 893 combined tackles and 27 interceptions in his 13-year career.

The Patriots are currently trying to find a way to keep cornerback Aqib Talib, who will be a free agent next month. Talib played exceptionally well in 2013.
