According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Pro Football Talk, sources told them that Rob Gronkowski has torn his ACL and will have an MRI to confirm it tomorrow.
Belichick touched on Gronk after the game.
“Rob was taken to the hospital for observation and evaluation on his injury,” Belichick said. “That’s all I have on it.”
Gronkowski caught a Brady pass up the middle and safety T.J. Ward laid a direct hit on Rob’s knee and Gronk fell to the ground in obvious pain.
Gronk was eventually carted off the field and received high fives and taps on the head before leaving.
