Rex Ryan content with sinking with the SSS

Rex Ryan won’t jump off the SSS(Sinking Sanchez Ship). Ryan announced the Jets will start Mark Sanchez at QB this Sunday vs Jacksonville. He thinks Sanchez gives him the best chance to win, and I think everybody is thinking HA no he doesn’t because we have all seen him play, and we know better then to believe these lies. The fans gave the Jets a standing ovation when they benched Sanchez and played Mcelroy, and the team’s energy completely changed; they tried harder and played better. If Ryan hasn’t quit on his QB his team certainly has. This doesn’t surprise me at all because I didn’t believe Ryan could keep Sanchez benched since Ryan has always shown such concern for this QB, and has always babied him more then any other coach has for a QB ever. Ryan doesn’t want to hurt Sanchez’s feelings or his mentality, he is scared of upsetting Sanchez. I get the GM put the Jets in a bad spot with the extension, but after next season the Jets can cut him and they should because it is clear Sanchez is not the future QB for not only the Jets, but for any team. Ryan has made a mistake with this move, and the Jets fans already know what they have with Sanchez: a guy who can’t beat a average to good team, can’t even move the football against a decent team, and unless they are turnovers to put the Jets in scoring position then he still struggles to score.

Sanchez not playing good has nothing to do with who is around him either, he was awful versus the Steelers, and the 49ners with WR Holmes still in the game therefore the problem is he is just not a good QB. Rex Ryan is having a very hard time accepting that and I knew it was trouble when I saw Ryan beside Sanchez’s locker talking, and in all truthfulness consoling him. I was thinking instead of being happy with the team he is this concern over this guy’s feelings? What about Greg Mcelroy’s feelings because he just lead your team to a victory that Sanchez couldn’t and you are still saying Greg isn’t your best option, or what about Tebow? You made promises to him, lied to him, and will embarrass him going into his home town which Tebow has done nothing wrong to deserve the garbage the Jets coaching staff has done to him. Tebow doesn’t deserve to be benched, he deserves his chance to win as well as Greg Mcelroy. Sanchez has had this whole season, and he has been beyond awful. I think the NFL is a weird world this year; Alex Smith does nothing to lose his job and loses it while Sanchez does everything to lose it, but still gets to start? I know this much: Matt Leinart, Colt Mccoy, and Alex Smith all wishes Rex Ryan was their head coach because then they would all be starters no matter how many turnovers they commit, and games they lose.

The Jets think they have winnable games coming up, but its only winnable for good teams. The winning formula for the teams left to play the Jets is simple. Don’t turn the ball over and make the scoring opportunities easy for them. If Jacksonville doesn’t turn it over then the Jaguars will win, because Sanchez is not driving the length of the field and outscoring a team, and winning the whole game. Chad Henne has flashed sometimes this season so here is to hoping he flashes again and gets this win. Rex Ryan is content to sink with the “Sinking Sanchez Ship” so he can and then get fired as the season ends.
