Now this is something that you don’t see every day.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick ejected wide receiver/punt returner Julian Edelman and linebacker Niko Koutouvides from practice today. According to sources, the two were involved in some “extracurricular activies” following a punt return drill.
It’s a rather unique situation to eject two players from practice—as it ultimately forces the two players that butted heads to sit in the locker room together while the team finished up practice.
