Patriots sign rookie QB Jimmy Garoppolo

The New England Patriots officially signed their 2nd round pick Jimmy Garoppolo yesterday. Garoppolo signed a four-year deal worth $3.3 million, with a $853,744 signing bonus. Dominique Easley, the team’s first pick, is the only one who remains unsigned.

The New England Patriots began signing undrafted free agents once the draft was over. They signed Tyler Beck, a tight end, out of Bowling Green. Patriots traded away their 3rd round pick

The Patriots traded their 93rd pick (3rd round) to Jacksonville in exchange for picks 105 (Pick 5 in the 4th) & 179 (Pick 3 in 6th round). The Patriots choose not to use their 3rd round pick and instead gain extras in the 4th and 6th rounds.
