New England Patriots Super Bowl Champs

Tom Brady’s Offseason Decision Could Impact the Entire NFL for 2020

Tom Brady could take a lesson from Peyton Manning, his old rival and buddy.

When Manning was let go from the Colts following from the 2011 season, he wanted to continue playing in the NFL, and decided to take his talents to Denver to play for the Broncos.

The move paid off after three seasons, as finally in the fourth season he guided the Broncos to a Super Bowl win with the help of a dominating defense.

While the exact NFL betting odds have yet to come out on where Brady will play in 2020 and beyond, there’s a solid chance that he wants a change of scenery, and that he’ll high tail it out of New England.

There’s a story today on NBC Sports Boston about the thought of Brady doing what LeBron James did when he left the Cavaliers years ago, and that’s building a ‘super team’ in whatever city he decides to play in next.

One big question about such a team would be where that team is, and the story states that there are a couple of teams that have the cap space to afford to not only add Brady, but also another top player or two that could help out.

To financially accommodate Brady and others, obviously, a team needs cap space. The Dolphins ($89.4M), Colts ($86.1M) and Buccaneers ($79.9M) are first, second and fourth in available cap space according to the website Over The Cap. The Bills are third ($80.1M) but they have signaled they will ride or die with Josh Allen.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has already publicly come out and stated that he does not think that Brady would want to come play in Miami.

Money and a couple tours of South Beach could change Brady’s mind very quickly should he want to give his AFC East rival a chance to court him.

The other teams mentioned – the Colts and Buccaneers, are two teams that likely would do just about anything to add Brady, which could include make a big change in their roster and the quarterback position.

The Colts have Jacoby Brissett, while the Bucs have a big decision to make when it comes to former first overall pick Jamies Winston.

Brady could hold the key to all of it. Wherever he plays in 2020, it will be the biggest story of the offseason, ad one that could change the complete dynamic of the entire NFL when a final decision is reached.

Would love to see Brady stay with the Patriots, but they cannot come up with the supporting cast of OL, Recievers, Fullback in one season. In all fairness to Brady, Father time is not on his side. If Belichik, Kraft would have KEPT Antonio Brown, until Goodell pulled him, the outcome would have been hugely different for the Patriots.Brady should go where he has a chance at an another Super Bowl win.Vrabel, Titans, make the most amount of sense. Best of Luck to the greatest quarterback of all time!!
