Patriots Make Roster Moves; Add DB Duke Dawson From IR

The Patriots today activated defensive back Duke Dawson to the 53-player roster, their second-round pick in this last year’s NFL Draft out of Florida.

Dawson was placed on injured reserve Sept. 6 with a hamstring injury.

The team also cut running back Kenjon Barner and linebacker Nicholas Grigsby.

Barner has had three separate stints on the Patriots’ roster this season. He most recently was signed Oct. 8th, and he appeared in five games with a total of 71 yards on the ground.

Grigsby played 14 regular-season games for the Patriots the past two seasons with four tackles on defense and 11 on special teams.
