Patriots Bring Back LB Marquis Flowers with One-Year Deal Worth $2.55 Million

The Patriots have re-signed linebacker Marquis Flowers, Kevin Dillon of Masslive reports.

Flowers, who was traded to New England ahead of last year’s regular season, signed a one-year, $2.55 million deal with the Patriots Thursday, according to multiple reports.

Flowers, 26, played in all 16 games for the Patriots a season ago, starting two of them. He had 32 total tackles and 3.5 sacks in his time on the field, taking on key roles on special teams and as a quarterback spy at times.
