Greg Schiano Still Not Sure About Taking the Patriots Defensive Coordinator Job

Current Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano is still undecided about accepting the DC role for the Patriots in 2018 according to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports 1.

Multiple outlets have reported that Schiano is expected to replace Matt Patricia, who is slated to be the next head coach of the Detroit Lions, but Feldman cautions that the move is not yet a done deal. It is possible that Schiano is having second thoughts considering how much uncertainty surround the Patriots going into the offseason-losing both coordinators and major rumors of strife with Belichick, Brady, and owner Robert Kraft. . If he does accept the job, it will be Schiano’s first NFL gig since being let go by the Buccaneers following the 2013 campaign.
