When the Patriots’ injury report was released this afternoon, Jimmy Garoppolo was listed with “limited participation,” Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.
Garoppolo suffered a sprained AC join in his right shoulder during Sunday’s win over the Dolphins and his availability for Thursday’s game against the Texans has been the main storyline this weeek. Garoppolo was not present for the start of the workout, which appeared to be a light session. Players wore helmets but no other pads, so it was going to be closer to a walkthrough.
Garoppolo joined five other players with the “limited” designation — linebacker Dont’a Hightower, tight end Rob Gronkowski, linebacker Jonathan Freeny, defensive lineman Trey Flowers and offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper. Eric Rowe officially “did not particpate.”
