The New England Patriots signed former Bama standout S Vinnie Sunseri, a second year player drafted by the Saints in the fifth round.

He played in nine games with the Saints and made one defensive tackle before ending the season on the IR.

He was an outstanding tackler at Alabama, not great in coverage, but made every tackle and a big hitter. He’s also known as an outstanding special teams player, but has trouble staying healthy.

The Patriots signed rookie free agent OL Kyler Kerbyson from Tennessee. Kerbyson played left tackle for the Vols in 2015, starting every game. He played right tackle, left tackle, and left guard during his junior season at UT.

A nice depth guy for any position on the OL, the Patriots love that kind of versatility. He has a shot to make the team, especially with all the trouble the Patriots had last year with health problems and poor performances.
