Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski land in Top 100’s Top 10

The NFL released its final countdown of the top 100 NFL players voted by the players Wedsenday night at 9:00 pm EST.

Tight End Rob Gronkowski landed at number 9 on the list, one spot up from last year’s number 10.

Gronk has made the list every year since 2012 when he came in at number 21, 2013 at number 25, 2014 number 41 and 2015 number 10. To be honest, this year’s ranking is a great ranking for the best tight end in the league, but I would have put him higher around number 6 or 5, ahead of Julio Jones and Adrian Peterson. But, keep expecting Gronk to rise higher and higher and remain a top 10 player as long as he stays healthy.

QB Tom Brady landed at number 2, one spot up than last year’s number 3 ranking. He has made the list every single year since the list started in 2011 and has had a top five ranking every single year. 2011 he was ranked the number one player. In 2012 and 2013 he was ranked number 4, 2014 ranked number 3 and 2015 ranked 3.

Brady to me every year is the number one player in the NFL, no surprise, but this year with all of the injuries and no running game mixed with a dismal year for the OL, he was certainly the best player in the NFL to guide the team to the AFC Title game where they were only a 2 point conversion away from the Super Bowl. This past season showed just how important number 12 was to New England and no matter what anyone says, no Brady through four games will be tough to overcome, so here’s to hoping this is the start of great news for number 12.

To watch his video, go HERE where you can see players like Wes Welker and Kirk Cousins heap praise on the QB.
