
Terrance Knighton is going from sacking Tom Brady to playing for the Patriots.

The New England Patriots will sign DT Terrance Knighton, nicknamed pot roast, to a one-year deal worth $4.5 million, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter.
Terrance Knighton is a former Jaguars, Broncos, and Redskins defensive tackle, who will be a nice pickup for the Patriots who continue to collect nice talent around the league.
Knighton tweeted out a photo of him in a New England helmet much to Chris Long’s delight.
He will be depth for the defensive tackle spot and a game contributor.
He played in 15 games last season with the Redskins, missing the game against New England, recording 29 tackles, and 1.5 sacks.
He also had one tackle against Green Bay in the one and only Redskins postseason game this past year.
Knighton has played in 108 career games, recording 230 tackles, 14 sacks, 3 FF, 1 FR, 2 interceptions, 10 passes defended and 1 kick blocked.
