The New England Patriots traded for Bears’ tight end Martellus Bennett on Wednesday, according to¬†Adam Schefter.

The Patriots sent a fourth round pick to the Bears while the Pats will receive a 6th round draft pick as well as Bennett.

Bennett is a 6’6, 273 pound stud heading into his 9th season in the NFL. He spent the first four years of his career in Dallas before playing for the Giants in 2012. He never really caught on until 2013 with the Bears and Jay Cutler.

Bennett made the Pro Bowl in 2014 after catching 90 passes for 916 yards and 6 touchdowns in 16 games. In 2015 he played in 11 games, catching 53 passes for 439 yards and 3 touchdowns.

In his career, Bennett has played in 119 games, catching 348 passes for 3,586 yards and 23 touchdowns.
