The past few days have spanned a few reports on Chandler Jones stopping by the Foxborough police station to seek help for a bad reaction to something, leading to his trip to the local hospital, according to several reports.

Today, the report is Chandler Jones did not overdose on anything illegal, but had a bad reaction to synthetic marijuana on Sunday, which is not illegal in the state, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss and The Boston Globe.

The Boston Globe also reported that Jones was in practice the following day, lifting weights at 6:30 am.

The Patriots released a statement on Jones Tuesday, after several reports were released speculating on the cause of the visit the hospital.

“Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and released that day. He reported to work on time Monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then.”

Audio from the police was released where they stated Jones as a “confused party,” and the incident being a “medical emergency.”

Reports from a few days ago said Jones showed up with no shirt or shoes on.

Synthetic marijuana is made from chemicals and not marijuana. Read more about it HERE from the Boston Globe.

The NFL is currently reviewing the situation.

I’m not up to date on the NFL banned substances, or if Jones will be suspended or not, but we will wait and see, but I’m thinking, actually hoping, he won’t be.

Thankfully, Chandler Jones is okay and healthy, that is the most important thing. The legal drug he was using is and can be dangerous.
