The Patriots fell two spots on ESPN.com’s final regular season rankings, but remained in the top five, however, NFL.com pushed them out of the top five best teams.
ESPN has New England ranked at number five after their 20-10 loss to Miami, and finishing the season 2-4 after a 10-0 start. The Dolphins moved up to 21 overall, a six spot jump. The Panthers, Broncos, Seahawks, Cardinals, and the Patriots make up the top five. See the full rankings HERE.
NFL.com moved down the Patriots three spots to number 6 overall after a really bad performance against the Dolphins to close out the season. The Dolphins moved up three spots to number 23 overall.
