Merry Christmas to all and to all a good day!
I hope Christmas was the best one yet for all of you that reads this.
Okay, so let’s get back to previewing the Jets and Patriots Sunday showdown at MetLife Stadium, by breaking down the three keys to a New England win.
1. Protecting Tom Brady:
It will be vital to protect Tom Brady because he can score if he has the time. Also, we are closing in on postseason time and we need number twelve healthy, so the line really needs to get its act together because right now, they are the weakest link to an otherwise Super Bowl worthy team. I’ll be honest, this line will keep the Pats from a Super Bowl if they don’t play much better. Tomorrow is a great chance to showcase their talents and keep the Jets away because they will blitz like crazy and they will pressure Tom Brady if they can because they know that’s their ticket to a win. The OL better step up.
2. Stop The Run:
The Patriots defense must stop the Jets running attack and force them to throw the football to win. They have to take away a ground game. Don’t let Ivory beat you, let the formerly bearded Ryan Fitzpatrick try.
3. Get Open Fast:
Hey wide outs, how about trying to take a little pressure off of Rob Gronkowski? Brandon LaFell? Keshawn Martin? Anyone? Hello wideouts, it’s been a long time since you have impressed, it’s actually been since Edelman went down, well now is the best time to step up and step out. Amendola won’t even play to help out LaFell and company, so somebody needs to. The Jets secondary is very good, so getting open fast is a challenge but it’s a must.
