Here we go, time for some Humble Pie on a Monday to the Patriots after their 33-16 win over the Titans.

Even in wins, there is always something to work on.

1. CB Logan Ryan:

He wasn’t awful, but he was the lone dim light amongst the bright lights of the defense against the Titans. This may have been his worst game of the 2015 season, which is saying something. He was covering the very big and very good Green-Beckham and struggled. He needs to get back on track, but even with his struggle the Pats defense was still lights out.

2. Covering Tight Ends:

I’m not exactly sure who drew the coverage of Tight End Dealine Walker, but they missed out a few times against the big tight end. Walker scored on a 7 yard pass in the 2nd quarter and then broke free for a 57 yard touchdown in the 2nd half. He only caught 2 passes, but they were both for touchdowns and 64 yards. Not exactly what you want.

3. The Wide Receivers:

Getting Edelman back can’t come fast enough if you ask me. Man do they miss him and they miss him as much as they do when Gronk isn’t out there. LaFell did okay, he caught 4 passes for 88 yards, but that’s still only 4 catches, especially when Amendola left in the first half. He’s gotta be open a lot more than just four times in a game. James White, a RB and pass-catcher, caught 7 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. Gronk, a tight end, caught 5 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. The wide outs have to step up.
