We are just a few days away from the Giants and Patriots clashing, and the Giants have spoken up just a bit about the game. Jason Pierre-Paul says they will sack Tom Brady and WR Rueben Randle says the Pats want to pay the Giants back for the past three losses. Odell Beckham JR commented he has always hated the Patriots.

So, no shortage of bulletin board material for the Patriots this, not like they need more though. Here are the three players who can help quiet the loud talking Giants.

1. RB LeGarrette Blount:

Good pass protector and good ball carrier. You want to see Alabama’s RB Derrick Henry’s doppelganger? Well, you do every time you see Blount play, because they play the same. They can both be slow to the line, but if they find any space or hole, they are gone. Blount can be hit or miss in certain games, but make no mistake he’s a pretty good back. This Giants team are not great at stopping the run, so if Blount brings his A game he can help make this a balance game, while keeping the Giants off balance.

2. SS Patrick Chung:

He will have a huge job on Sunday, stopping the Giants tight End Will Dye and Jerome Cunningham. With Larry Donnell out of the picture his job will be a tad easier, neither are very big for tight ends, but don’t sleep on them. Chung needs to make sure Eli doesn’t have a 3rd down safety net.

3. DE Chandler Jones:

Jones can make life easier for the Pats secondary if he can provide consistent pressure on Eli. Jones is a very good pass rusher and he’s good for a sack a game, but I don’t believe he provides constant pressure on Quarterbacks every game, but if he can this Sunday, it will help protect the secondary and help the team to go 9-0.
