Tom Brady made his weekly appearance on the Dennis, Callahan & Minihane show today, to chat with the guys on WEEI about the Redskins, Greg Hardy, and the Giants.
When asked about Greg Hardy, and if he would have a problem with him on his team, Brady stayed away from a comment.
“I don’t know him at all. I’m going to stay away from that one. There’s nothing good for me there.”
When asked again, Brady wouldn’t budge.
“I’m just going to stay out of that one, guys,” he said. “I have no comment.”
Brady talked about running the ball more against Washington.
“We wanted to be balanced,” Brady said. “We always want to be balanced. I’d say that. Sometimes you get into the game and you realize it’s going to go maybe one way more than another. But we were running it well. It takes some pressure off the pass game when you can run those play-action passes. … It just takes some pressure off the pass game when you’re running the ball like we were. It was great to see [LeGarrette Blount] get it 29 times and see what he could do with it. It takes a toll on the defense when they’ve got to start playing all those things. We had a couple of play-action passes late in the game that were really opened up because of how effectively we were running the ball.”
He also talked about playing the Giants Sunday.
“We’ve already had a hard time beating these guys for one reason or another,” Brady said. “So hopefully we can get over our struggles and finally go out and play well and beat them.”
