Patriots WR Brandon LaFell is eligible to practice this week and play on Sunday against the Jets, after being placed on the PUP list to begin the season, due to a foot injury.
The Patriots have until three weeks to put LaFell back on the active roster before he will be shut down for good. The good thing is, it does sound like he’s on schedule.
Bill Belichick said LaFell will “likely” begin practicing this week, according to Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald.
Dane Fletcher and Chris Jones are also eligible to practice this week.
