The Patriots and all of Patriots Nation are looking forward to this game and are hoping for a huge win in Indy to get a little payback on the Colts, for Deflategate.
There are three keys to this game, to a New England win, I’ll go over them below.
1. Protect Tom Brady: Always a key. Always will be. If the line can hold up against the Colts then Brady will score. He can’t do that if he is constantly on the ground, so the Pats better have a better showing for the entire game than they did against the Cowboys in the first half last week.
2. Run The Ball: This has gone the Pats way the last few times the two teams have played and I don’t see why this would be any different. The Colts run defense is okay, but it’s still far from great and something the Pats may take advantage of once again. IF they run the ball on the Colts with great success, they will win. If they don’t it will be okay, but this would be huge.
3. Pressure The QB: Put the heat on Andrew Luck or Matthew Hasselbeck and you’ve got yourself some turnovers. They have to stop the pass and while I’m sure the corners will do well, they really need help from the defensive line in this game. Hit Luck and you’ll hit a win.
