Brady rumors won’t stop, thanks to the NFL, but I doubt Brady will let that affect him on Sunday against Jacksonville. He will probably use it as motivation to destroy the Jaguars, so start him in fantasy this week!

Aside from Brady, there will be three other players with big roles to play for the New England Patriots come Sunday.

1. CB Bradley Fletcher

I’m guessing he will be on WR Marqise Lee, there’s a chance he could go against Allen Hurns, but I doubt it, but either way he’s important to the secondary’s success on Sunday.  It’s also important, he finds himself with this defense and begins to perform better, to go along with Butler and Brown’s success. If he does go against Lee, they will be around the same height, but Lee is very explosive, so Fletcher will need to match him stride for stride Sunday. This will be the kind of game for the Pats to showcase their talents in the secondary and build confidence, starting with Fletcher finding his way with this defense.

2. DT Sealver Siliga

The Pats really need to find a dominate nose tackle for their defense. The run defense is still a problem for the Patriots and they need to patch it up to avoid waterfall leaks. If they can’t become a dominate run defense, then at least only let sprinkles through instead of opening the flood gates. Toby Gerhart will probably play for Jacksonville on Sunday along with T.J. Yeldon, so the Jags will try to establish a run game to set up play action and big plays. They can’t allow that, Siliga stepping up and performing to his ability will help the defense.

3. WR Julian Edelman

He’s on a whole new level this season. A league – leading 22 receptions through two games and he can add to that total on Sunday. Forget Megatron, can anybody stop MiniTron?

Gronk and Edelman are the two most important players on offense after Brady in the passing game and on Sunday if they continue to perform, especially Edelman, the Pats should have no problem scoring touchdowns.
