The NFL is investigating Steelers tight end coach James Daniel for allegedly kicking a Patriots fan and verbally accosting the fan on his way to the locker room at halftime last night, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
The report states Daniel kicked a Pats fan in the back of the leg and began yelling at the fan in front of witnesses, which later identified the coach.
Police was waiting for Daniel at his booth when he returned from halftime to tell him to control himself, which led Daniel to reportedly begin yelling at the officer. NFL security was not around to witness the incident.
A league official confirmed to Schefter they are looking into the matter.
The Steelers also said they were aware of what happen and are investigating the matter.
