The first Patriots game of the 2015 season is closing in, so here are the stats from last season you should know before the Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The stats are from the total 2014 regular season.

Steelers Stats You Should Know:

LB Lawrence Timmons: 132 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 passes defended. 16 games played.

Playoff Stats: 7 tackles in 1 postseason game. 

CB William Gay: 69 tackles, 3 interceptions returned for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns. 12 passes defended in 16 games played. 

Playoff Stats: 2 tackles. 1 game played.

FS Mike Mitchell: 71 tackles, 2 FF, and 3 passes defended in 16 games. 

Playoff Stats: 5 tackles.

Steelers Passing Offensive Ranking: 2nd. Steelers Rushing Offensive Ranking: 16. Steelers Overall Offensive Ranking: 2nd. 

Steelers Pass Defense Ranking: 17th. Steelers Rush Defense: 6th. Steelers Overall Defensive Ranking: 18th. 

Patriots Stats You Should Know:

QB Tom Brady: 373/582 for 4,109 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. 36 rushing attempts for 57 yards in 16 games played.

Playoff Stats: 93/135 for 921 yards, 10 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. 11 rushing attempts for 10 yards and 1 touchdown in 3 games played.
