The Patriots won Super Bowl 49 back in February, beating the Seattle Seahawks in a thriller that ended with a Malcolm Butler interception on the goal line.

Still, ESPN has the Seattle Seahawks ranked number one, with the Patriots in 2nd place to start the 2015 NFL season. The Steelers, the Patriots week one opponent, are ranked number 7 heading into the opening game of week one. To see the entire ESPN Power Rankings for week one, GO HERE.

NFL.com’s week one power rankings are even more shocking than ESPN! They have the defending Super Bowl Champions, ranked number 4 heading into week one. Behind, number one ranked and Super Bowl losers Seattle Seahawks. Packers rank 2nd and the Colts, yes the Colts, who the Patriots beat in January 45-7, ranked number 3. They have the Steelers, tomorrow night’s team to beat for the Patriots, ranked number 5.
