We are officially down to the last preseason week of football, which brings us one final step closer to the regular season beginning!

Sunday, I took time to predict the division winners in 2015, now I will predict every team that will make the playoffs and what seed I believe they will be.

Let’s start with the AFC.

1st Seed: Patriots.

This is only if Tom Brady plays the first four games of the season, if he does not, then the Pats will be the number two seed overall. We are still awaiting the Judge’s decision on Tom Brady’s suspension, but I believe Garoppolo will not be able to beat the Steelers and Cowboys, which is why I think the Pats will get the 2 seed at best and 3 seed at worst because they will probably lose a game or two down the road with Brady. But, honestly, is there anyone in the AFC that is even close to the Patriots right now with Tom Brady for a full season? Nope, because the 2nd best team is probably the Colts and we saw how “close” they were in that AFC Title Game back in January. There is only one team that can beat the Pats in Foxboro and that’s Baltimore but it’ll be really hard for the Ravens to beat the Pats, they’ll have to be perfect in Foxboro. Otherwise nobody comes close, Pats easily take the first seed with Mr. Brady.

2nd Seed: Colts.

They are in a weak division and because of this and the fact the Ravens division is pretty tough, the Colts win out for the number two seed overall. The Colts aren’t sniffing a SB though until that defense steps up and because of that defense, they may have to play in the wild card round, but for now I think they are good enough to put together an excellent season. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t get much more talented than this Colts offense and they are a really good team, but that defense will hold them back again this season. However, during the regular season they will probably be the 2nd best AFC team.

3rd Seed: Ravens.

They might be the 2nd or 3rd seed and it really depends on how Flacco does during the regular season. We all know he’s a boss in the postseason, but he can be average during the regular season, but I really like this Ravens team. Ravens or Colts will probably be the number two and three teams, but if Brady misses the first four games, the Pats have a real chance of going 2-2 or 1-3, so the Ravens and Colts may get the 1 and 2 seeds. The Ravens are a beatable team during the regular season, but during the postseason they are almost unbeatable. They will get there this year, and be hard to deal with, but during the regular season they may just lose enough to be the number 3 seed.

4th Seed: Broncos:

I’m not sure what to make of the Broncos this season. It depends on how healthy Peyton can stay and if he’s inching further past his prime or not. They will still win a lot of games and be a hard team to beat, but they are not as good as they were two seasons ago.

5th Seed: Chargers.

Wildcard time! Chargers are the team I’m picking right now, but I don’t feel great about it. They can honestly go either way, but for now they make it. It’s either them or the Steelers in this spot.

6th Seed: Bengals.

I feel good about this pick. They are not getting any better, but they will probably be the same as the past few seasons, just good enough to make it into the wild card and promptly get eliminated.

Time for the NFC picks.

1st Seed: Cowboys.

I like their schedule, it favors them. They should be able to win enough games to lock up the first round, but it’s Dallas and you can never tell. I’m also going by how good they were last year, so this could be way wrong, but we will see. I really like Romo and the Cowboys lately, I have a good feeling about them, but again this is all guess work. I don’t really know, so don’t lose your mind over this.

2nd Seed: Rams.

Hard one here, it’s either them or Green Bay, and to be honest, it all comes down to the Rams Vs Packers game. Whoever wins, gets this spot right here. I’ve gone back and forth 100 times because St. Louis’ schedule is a little tougher than the Packers, but we will see.

3rd Seed: Packers.

Again, I love Green Bay and they are right there in being ready to win another Super Bowl. They are getting closer, and they are a great team with a great QB, but for right now, I’ll keep them at number 3. Just a few days ago I said they will probably be the number one seed and now I’m changing my mind and I probably will a few more times before the season starts. Crazy I know.

4th Seed: Saints.

I think this time, the division winner will have a winning record going into the playoffs, and I think that team will be the New Orleans Saints. I’m not one of those people who say Brees is past his prime because I believe playing behind a bad OL will make anyone look past their prime, but I believe they have patched it enough to work for them this season.

5th Seed: Seahawks.

They will get back to the playoffs, but not as division winners this time and their schedule are insane. Their division is good so at least one time they will travel to St. Louis, San Fran, and AZ. They also have to travel to Dallas, Green Bay, Cincy, and Baltimore. I don’t believe they can beat any of them away from home except the 49ers.

6th Seed: Giants.

I don’t feel great about this, but I like the way the schedule works out for them. It’s either them or the Cardinals or even Atlanta, so for right now, the Giants will be the ones to make the comeback. I wanna trust Carson Palmer and I want to trust Eli but I don’t. I just don’t know, but right now Giants for the win.
