Rob Ninkovich will face his old team once again.

The Patriots will be in New Orleans tonight for their 2nd preseason game, starting at 7:30 pm EST.

You can watch the game on CBS (Boston) or WBZ – TV and as always 98.5 FM, with Scott Zolak and Bob Socci on the radio. If you are a Saints fan or Pats fan living in New Orleans you can watch the game on WVUE (FOX/8 – New Orleans.)

You can stream the game HERE.

Now, let’s talk about tonight and which players you should be keeping tabs on.

1. CB Tarell Brown: He’s had an excellent camp for the Patriots and has seized the starting job, for now anyways. He sat out the first preseason game against the Packers due to a slight injury, but he’s ready to go tonight. He’s had an excellent week of practice against the Saints, so keep an eye on Brown tonight. The starting job is his to lose.

2. DL Geneo Grissom: He’s had a wonderful week against the Saints during one-on-one battles and tonight should see extra snaps with rookie DL Trey Flowers most likely out. He had an impressive debut against the Packers last week and tonight he can build on that. He will hopefully help the Pats line get more pressure, so keep an eye on him and the entire DL.

3. WR Chris Harper: He has a big chance tonight to make his case at being the number 5 spot. Brandon Gibson is most likely the leading candidate for the number 4 spot, but Harper can make his claim to land a spot on the team. Dobson is out with an injury, and Tyms is likely heading to the IR, so Harper and Boyce can battle it out tonight for a role in this offense. Harper had an excellent game last Thursday night, and tonight we will see if he continues to beat Boyce, or if Boyce bounces back.

4. CB Malcolm Butler: He stood out against a very good Packers WR core and a great Packers QB, tonight he gets Brees and that vaunted Saints offense. Another great chance to prove himself even more. Keep an eye on the Pats number one corner.

5. QB Jimmy Garoppolo: He will probably get extended time again tonight with Brady playing a few series or none at all. Garoppolo will hopefully have better protection and stand out more than last week. He’s always one to watch during the preseason, especially with Brady’s suspension looming.
