The Patriots held their fifth training camp of the 2015 year, and third straight practice in full pads.

Did Not Practice: QB Matt Flynn, WR Matthew Slater, WR Brandon LaFell, RB Tyler Gaffney, LB Dane Fletcher, LB Chris White, OL Marcus Cannon, OL Ryan Wendell, OL Caylin Hauptmann, DT Joe Vellano, TE AJ Derby, DT Chris Jones, DT Alan Branch.

Julian Edelman was with the team during the walk through portion and stretched with the team, but left after that to work out in the Dana-Farber Field House. He tweaked his ankle during Sunday’s practice, but the injury does appear to be minor.

QB Tom Brady was pretty good again today. He was 21-27 during team drills, including 7-8 in 7-on-7s and 14-19 during 11-on-11s. He was picked off for the first time all camp, by Malcolm Butler.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo put in a solid effort today. He was 16-25 during team drills, including 3-7 during 7-on-7s and 13-18 during 11-on-11s. He was intercepted by Nate Ebner on a pass that sailed over his intended receiver while the QB was scrambling.

WR Brian Tyms left practice early today after a scary injury. He was carted off and looked to be holding his right arm.

WR Danny Amendola continues to shine during camp, like usual. Amendola caught back-to-back touchdowns against Logan Ryan and Tarrel Brown from Brady during goal line work, and beat Bradley Fletcher on a throw from Garoppolo.

WR Brandon Gibson started the day by dropping a Brady pass, but flourished for the remainder of the day. He and Garoppolo have awesome chemistry.

CB Malcolm Butler stole the show today after an incredible practice. He broke up a pass to Josh Boyce from Jimmy Garoppolo and intercepted a Tom Brady pass intended for Boyce. He had great coverage and jumped the crossing route. Butler leads the team with four pass defenses through 5 practices, three pass breakups, and an interception.

CB Logan Ryan had a nice day during positional drills. He handled Amendola very well. He, Butler, and Brown seem to be the main guys at corner right now.

The Patriots will practice tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. inside of Gillette Stadium for their annual night practice for season ticket holders and Foxboro residents.
