The Patriots will put 2nd year DL Dominique Easley on the active physically unable to perform list to start training camp and he can come off the list at anytime.
Dominique Easley had his rookie season cut short due to a knee injury in Decemeber. He was coming off a torn ACL he suffered during his final season at Florida and the Pats have been managing him ever since drafting him last year. He suffered two ACL tears during his college career.
Easley was hoping to start training camp since he sat out all off-season workouts, but the Pats seem to think it’s in his best interest to keep him sideline a little longer.
In addition to Easley, the Pats have put WR Brandon LaFell, Matthew Slater, DL Vince Taylor, Chris Jones, Linebackers Chris White, and Dane Fletcher on the PUP list.
QB Matt Flynn was placed on the active/non-football injury list and can come off of it at anytime.
