Former Patriots corner Kyle Arrington has agreed to a three-year deal with the Balitmore Ravens, the team announced today.
Arrington will join Jimmy Smith, Lardarius Webb, and Asa Jackson. He will provide them with a very good slot corner and add more depth to their secondary.
The Ravens secondary has improved a little more with this move.
Arrington is 5’10, 190 pounds and played slot corner for most of the season last year during the Pats Super Bowl Title run.
He recorded 39 tackles, 1 sack, 2 FF, and 4 passes defended in 14 games for the Pats last year.
He added 10 more tackles during the team’s 3 postseason games. He had 3 tackles in the Super Bowl.
He’s played in 86 games for the Patriots, making 352 tackles, 3 sacks, 5 FF, 3 FR, 9 interceptions for 133 yards and 1 touchdown, and 48 passes defended since joining the team in 2009.
He was also a key contributor for special teams.
All three of the Patriots starting corners in the Super Bowl are now with different teams. Revis with the Jets, Browner with the Saints, and Arrington with the Ravens.
