The Pats signed 5 undrafted free agents, headline by Michigan’s QB Devin Gardner, who is making the jump to WR at the NFL level.
Gardner is a 6’3, 220 pound wide out. He’s got some moves and very athletic. He’s likely a project who will try to bring something to New England and make the 53 man roster, but hey we probably said that about Edelman too.
They signed David Andrews, a Center from Georgia. All he did was have a productive 3 years at UGA and help led the way for one of the best rushing attacks and running backs in College Football.
You can see his highlights HERE.
They also grabbed a CB from UAB, Jimmy Jean. He has the size football fans and scouts drool over, standing at 6’2 and weighing 200 pounds. He might be the next Butler for New England and turn some heads.
They added another Wide Out by signing WR Chris Harper from California. He’s 5’11 and reminds people of Nelson Agholor. His size fits New England.
They signed Auburn’s SS Brandon King to a contract. He’s 6’2, 220 pounds. He’s seriously athletic. He had an impressive 38 inch vertical jump and 10’6 broad jump. He also ran a 4.49 in the 40 yard dash. He has played safety, linebacker, and defensive end.
I hope these guys show up and show out! Plenty of NFL players became stars after not being drafted, one of these guys, or all of them may do the same thing!
