Darrelle Revis won’t commit to returning to the Patriots next season in a conference call with Jets reporters.

Revis has a 2 year contract with New England, but he will count $25 million against the cap. The Pats will most likely want to re-negotiate that. He was asked if he will return to the Patriots next season and he was non committed.

“I don’t know what my future holds,” he said, via The Star-Ledger. “Right now, my focus is on this week.”

He was also asked if he would play for Rex Ryan again or the Jets and again uncommitted.

“I don’t know what my future holds, like I said,” Revis said. “We’ll see. The future will take care of itself.”

Revis is a great corner, actually he’s the best in the league right now. He’s helped this defense to be better than it was the last two seasons with Aqib Talib, so I think New England has to get a deal done and not release Revis to allow him to test the market.

If we know anything about Revis from his past, it’s he will go where the money is and as we know New England, they probably won’t pay you the most.
