We are full swing “On To Green Bay” and the game is only a day away.

The Pats will travel to Lambeau Field and you wonder if any Pats player will actually do the Lambeau Leap, and how many times the Packers will? This game provides a lot of exciting and interesting matchups to watch. We have already discussed some major matchups to watch, now we will talk about the players to watch.

1. CB Darrelle Revis: He has been the Pats defensive MVP and he’s shut down some top talent already: Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, A.J. Green, and Golden Tate. Next up, Randall Cobb. Cobb is about his size but extremely fast. Revis is fast and a great cover guy, so this will be an interesting challenge for the Pats. It will be great to watch. Revis should be able to cover Cobb, but you can never tell when you’re dealing with speedy guys. Revis could matchup with Jordy Nelson from time – to – time, considering the Pats recent trends. Whoever Revis is on, it’s important he shuts them down, and the same goes for Browner.

2. RB Jonas Gray: Who knows which RB will get a lot of carries this Sunday. I figure Gray will get back into the action and get some carries along with LeGarrette Blount. The Packers have the 30th ranked run defense, so to say they lack run defense is being nice. The Pats could be forced to run a lot again like they did against the Colts. They may need to start with running a lot to open up the pass and also to keep Packers pass rushers Matthews and Peppers at bay.  Gray is the best runner on the team with home run hitter Blount right behind him. This could make a nice 1-2 punch for the Pats on Sunday. Gray could be a big factor and hopefully runs as well as he did against the Colts. Having a run game will also control the game for New England by keeping Rodgers off the field.

3. LT Nate Solder: He should handle the right end, but it’s when the blitzing happens, he has to really step up his A game. Matthews coming around the end could be a problem if the Pats are not ready for it. When Matthews and Peppers come up the middle, then Connolly and Wendell have to be ready. The Pats toughest task on offense will be handling the Packers blitz because of the talent of their linebackers. Gray and Blount, better be ready to block too.
