Patriots reach contract extension with Matthew Slater

The Patriots have agreed to a contract extension with special team’s ace Matthew Slater, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Slater’s contract was ending after the season, but the Pats extended it two more years worth $4 million.

He has spent his 7 year career with the Patriots, making 99 tackles.
