Tom Brady talked today about Gronk and his play over the last few weeks.

“??He’??s a big part of what we do,” quarterback Tom Brady said. “??He’??s a big part of our pass game. I think the situations we talk about — whether it is third down, red area — those are all critical down and distances, I think he’??s a major factor. I said after the game, he has great physical ability and I think he understands the game so much more than he has in the past.

“He’??s just tough to stop. If they put extra guys to stop, then it really gives other guys opportunity, maybe more opportunity than they would typically get. I think when Gronk does well, it really benefits the other pass-catchers too. He’??s a great player”

Brady continued to marvel at Gronk’s play.

“Imagine trying to cover that,” Brady said. “We did a lot of work in training camp when Darrelle [Revis] was covering him and Gronk was trying to do some rehabilitation and stuff like that. He just gets great body position and I think that is a big part of it — he’??s such a big guy so it is hard to go through him and he’??s 6-foot-7, 265 pounds, so if he can get himself in the right position and get the defender where he wants him in the right position in the route, the defender cant do anything about it. They know that too, so then they panic and when they panic it’??s more of an advantage for the offense.”
