The Patriots host the Broncos tomorrow in a big game between two great Quarterbacks. It’s Peyton Vs Patriots defense and Brady Vs Broncos defense, and it should be good.

I will break down the 3 matchups the Patriots have to win tomorrow in order to win the game.

1. LB Von Miller Vs OL Ryan Wendell: It’s the entire line, but really Wendell and Connolly both have to be great when Miller rushes the inside and then Vollmer when he rushes to the outside. Miller has been picking it up as of late, but if New England can keep Miller and Ware off of Brady they should be fine on the offense. Denver will rely on blitzes to overwhelm and confuse the Pats OL and get to Brady, so the Pats better know how to pick up the blitzes. If they do, they’ll be fine.

2. CB Bradley Roby Vs WR Brian Tyms: Some experts say Talib will go against Gronk and if he does and I was sure of it, I’d put that matchup here, but I’m not so sure they will because Talib hasn’t faced a TE all year, although this is the BEST tight end Denver has seen this season. I’d welcome a man-to-man matchup with Gronk, and I doubt Denver’s crazy enough to do it, so matchup wise I can see them stick Talib on LaFell. They matchup in size, speed, and height. If Talib sticks to one side, he could see a few different matchups with LaFell and Edelman. I think their best bet is to put Talib on LaFell. I don’t expect LaFell to have a big game because Talib can probably shut him down, so after Edelman and Gronk, you go to Tyms in this game. The X-Factor. Tyms against the youngster Roby, whose up and down, would be awesome to see. I can see Brady hit Tyms deep for a big play and a crucial one. Tyms might need to be involved tomorrow and might have a big game. I do NOT want to see Amendola in the game plan much and not against Roby. Sorry, he just doesn’t get open against anybody.

3. WR Emmanuel Sanders Vs CB Logan Ryan: I expect Ryan to be on Sanders because they matchup in size and speed. Browner wouldn’t hang with a faster, shorter Sanders, but Ryan could. It might be Dennard or Arrington on Sanders, and any of the three is fine. Dennard is a good corner and if he’s fast enough could shut down Sanders. Arrington and Ryan have the speed to stick with Sanders, but they need their A game. This is a big matchup after Revis Vs Thomas.  If the Pats can shut down Sanders and Thomas the Pats defense will win the game for New England.
