The Patriots worked out five linebackers today, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

They worked out Justin Anderson, Kaelin Burnett, Tim Dobbins, Mario Harvey, and Paul Hazel.

We know Ridley will miss the year with a torn ACL, but still no word on Mayo.

These moves suggest the Patriots will at the very least, miss Mayo for several weeks, if not the entire season.

Justin Anderson is a rookie ILB, who played college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Burnett is in his 3rd season and played for the Raiders. He was an undrafted rookie who signed with Oakland in 2012. He has 12 career tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

Dobbins was drafted by the Chargers in the 5th round of the 2006 draft. He has 253 tackles, 8 FF, and 3 interceptions in his 9 year career. He also has 2 sacks.

Harvey converted from FB to LB with the Colts and Hazel is a 2 year player.
