The Patriots will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night, the Pats first prime time game of the year.

The Pats are coming off a close win to the winless Raiders, and the Chiefs looked great in their win over the Dolphins, last Sunday.

The Chiefs will offer the Patriots plenty of challenges Monday, and here are the 3 players that will help or hurt New England in the game.

1. Bryan Stork: The rookie Center for the Patriots should get more playing time, maybe even start Monday night, after looking good in 2 games when he came in for relief. If they shake that up, they should shake up the OL more, and the Pats could get better protection in the middle. People want to talk about Brady, but every QB struggles when the line doesn’t protect. It’s not Brady, it’s the OL. This line has to perform better if New England has a shot at winning the game. If Stork starts, he could have a big impact on the game.

2. Julian Edelman: Edelman is the only WR with Tom Brady’s trust and the only one with great hands. Danny Amendola is rarely open, I don’t know why Thompkins is still active, and where is Aaron Doboson? It all comes down to Edelman being uncoverable Monday Night. If he is, the Pats will put up some points, if he’s not, they will struggle.

3. Chris Jones: Since returning, the run defense has been better with Jones in the game, and this Monday, he and his fellow linemen will be tested. Knile Davis has been great in place of Charles, and if Charles returns, that’s an extra RB to give the Pats headaches. The DL has to be ready to play their best or they won’t get off the field Monday Night.
